This is the banner that i would use when creating my site for hip hop ad rap music. My initials goals for this banner were to make a creative look that would immediately tell people who visited my site that it was made for hip hop. so in order to do that i made the banner say "Hip Hop", and the background has multiple images of a record player. The record player was the album cover of one of the most famous groups in the hip hop industry, Salt n' Peppa. I hope any hip hop fan would appreciate this banner.
This banner was made to inform anyone who visits my site that its about hip hop music. i made sure of this by spelling out the words hip hop and incorporating pictures of the album made by Salt n' Peppa. When I make the page banner i would like to include more of the hip hop world in it. i would like to put in pictures of rappers and more album covers. I would also like to put in pictures of microphones, boom box's, and other things that were popular in the hip hop world of yesterday and today's.

What were your initial goals for the logo?

My initials goals are to make a logo/ nameplate that has something that represents myself and has something that i love to do on it. I want the nameplate to be unique.

Does your logo you have match the initial goes? Why or why not?

The nameplate i made doesn't really match my initial goals because it doesn't have anything on it that represent myself. I was hoping to make a logo that has something to do with rap or hip hop. All my nameplate has are flames, i hope to learn how to make a more unique nameplate in the future.

Html vs. xhtml

If you are familiar with HTML, you will be glad to know that the majority of what you know about HTML is still relevant in XHTML. The main differrences are that XHTML forces webpage authors to be more consistent and to write more legible code. There are a few syntax and grammar differences and a few HTML tags have been dropped and, really, that's about it. If you know HTML then you'll be surprised at how easy it is to switch to XHTML, and the new XHTML rules will force you to become a better programmer too!

Expectations

In web design i expect to learn things about technology, more specifically the Internet and websites. I expect to learn how to design my own website. I expect to learn how to personalize it tho show what i want it to show, and contain things that i would want to see on my own personal site such as music and pictures. I expect to learn a lot of stuff from this class about technology and computers. With the help of my peers we can make shore that ever body learns all the criteria that would be taught in this classroom. Everybody has straights and weaknesses and all fellow students we can help each other out to make sure those strengths and weaknesses even out. We also have Ms. Ramirez to help us out and make sure we grasp everything. I also expect and hope to get a good grade in this class. This is a technology class and i want to attend a technology college in the future so a good grade in this class would be really useful.
